About me

Translator (French to English) | Copywriter | Marketer

I am a skilled translator (French to English - UK/NZ), copywriter, and marketer.

I spent six years in marketing roles within higher education, working in particular on advertising, SEO, web editing, social media, and copywriting. Wanting to combine my marketing background with my love of languages, I went back to university to pursue translation. I completed my MA Specialised Translation at the University of Westminster, London in July 2019.

A native English speaker, I was born and spent most of my life (apart from a year in French-speaking Belgium) in New Zealand, where I also graduated from my BA Honours (First Class) in French and Spanish. In 2012 I moved to London, working for London universities, before starting my master's. Consequently, I can translate to, or write in, both British and New Zealand English.

Today, as a freelancer, I am delighted to be able to offer marketing, copywriting, and translation services. These areas of work are complementary, and my clients benefit from my expertise of all three.
