SurveyMonkey

Copywriting and localisation

SurveyMonkey is the world’s leading survey platform. From October 2020 to November 2021, I worked with copywriting and localisation agency Supertext on blog and website content for SurveyMonkey’s UK audience. The aim of this project was to bolster the company’s web presence and brand reputation in the region and provide a better, more tailored, experience for UK customers.

I began by adapting content written for a US audience to suit a UK audience. This involved not only changing spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary, but also replacing examples given and references used to ensure the text spoke to a British audience. In addition, I optimised each text with relevant keywords. Later, I was asked to write new, SEO content from scratch to bridge specific content gaps.

This was an interesting and satisfying project to be involved in. I was able to delve into a wide variety of marketing and market research topics and enjoyed adopting SurveyMonkey’s friendly, lively, direct, and often playful, tone of voice.

Below is a small selection of the content I wrote for SurveyMonkey.
